If you want to know the will of God in your marriage, you must not walk by sight or else you will stumble. Instead, learn to walk by faith and immerse yourself in prayer. This prayer points is written to help you overcome the challenge of choosing a wrong partner as spouse. The Lord will answer you as you pray in the name of Jesus.

I will advice that you observe at least three days fasting and prayer breaking by 6pm (in the evening) every day or if you can do it like a warrior, go ahead with dry fasting.

Sing some choruses unto the Lord if you can, if not go ahead and give thanks.

Give Thanks

  1. Thank you Jesus because you are my Lord.
  2. Thank you father Lord for giving me life.
  3. Lord, I thank you for your favour, mercy and faithfulness.
  4. Lord, I thank you for all your plans for my life.
  5. Lord, I thank you for all your plans for my marriage.
  6. Lord, I thank you for the partner you have chosen for me from the beginning of creation.
  7. Father Lord, I thank you and praise you because I’m wonderfully and fearfully made (Psalm 139:14).

Note: These are just a few ways to give thanks to God. You can do better by thanking God for everything He has done for you and your loved ones.

Prayers

  1. Father Lord, I have come to you today, please have mercy on me and answer my prayers in the name of Jesus.
  2. Father Lord, Please have mercy on me and forgive me of every sexual sin that I might have committed in the past in the name of Jesus.
  3. Lord Jesus, I invite you today to into my marital life, please let me not be ashamed.
  4. Almighty father let your will be done concerning my marriage in the name of Jesus.
  5. Father Lord, please lead me and guide me concerning of my marriage in the name of Jesus (Psalm 32:8).
  6. Almighty father, please instruct me and teach me in the way I shall go concerning my marriage (Psalm 32:8) in the name of Jesus. Help me Lord because you are my Shepherd in the name of Jesus.
  7. Father Lord, please reveal to me the secrets that surround my marriage in the name of Jesus (Jeremiah 33:3).
  8. Father let your Holy Spirit bring me in contact with the person you have chosen for me as wife / husband in the name of Jesus.
  9. Father, please let me recognise clearly the person you have chosen for me whenever we come into contact in the name of Jesus.
  10. Father Lord, please don’t let my attitude drive away my ‘God-sent’ husband/wife whenever we come into contact in the name of Jesus.
  11. Almighty father, please don’t let me marry wrongly in the name of Jesus.
  12. Everlasting father, please don’t let me take the agent of the devil as wife / husband in the name of Jesus.
  13. Every work of the devil working against my marriage, father, pull them down and destroy them in the name of Jesus (1John 3:8).
  14. Every satanic devices designed to deceive me to marry wrongly, Almighty father frustrate them in the name of Jesus (Job 5:12).
  15. Every evil power hindering me from getting married, Lord destroy them in the name of Jesus.
  16. Every spirit husband or spirit wife assigned against my marriage, Lord of host arrest them in the name of Jesus.
I thank you Jesus because you have answered me.
I thank you Lord of the heaven and the earth.
I thank you Almighty Father. Please let your name be glorified in my life forever in the name of Jesus  (Amen).
